School Philosophy
Pinocchio Child Care Center is designed to serve families and children of the community by providing a supportive environment in which both parent and child benefits. We provide a stimulating program, which encourages learning through experience using developmentally appropriate materials and equipment for young children. Staff members are supportive of children’s learning experiences by providing an atmosphere in the classroom that is positive and calm. Children are encouraged to explore their creativity, independence, muscle development, and self-help skills. Pinocchio Child Care Center facilitates an environment where children progress and demonstrate proficiency in an age-appropriate manner. Moreover, children are supported to develop strong foundational skills for the future, and gain confidence, responsibility, self-confidence, values, and respect. |

Our Goals
Pinocchio’s goal is to help children to develop into individuals who can take care of themselves as well as those around them. Social and emotional learning, development of responsibility, and integrity are emphasized. Concentration is focused on discipline and management rather than rewards and punishment, as well as development in leadership skills, norms, values (i.e., fairness, respect, honesty), and solving problems.

Hours of Operation
Pinocchio Child Care Center will be open from 8:00AM to 6:00PM, Monday through Friday, excluding school holidays.

Ages of Children Accepted for Care
Children from age two until entry into kindergarten can be admitted in Pinocchio Child Care Center for the preschool/ Pre-Kindergarten program.

Meals and Snacks
Pinocchio Child Care Center provides well-balanced nutritious meals for
Morning Snack (8:30AM – 9:30AM), Lunch (12:00PM – 12:30PM), and Dinner (4:00PM – 4:30PM).
